The Philadelphia Contributionship has been meeting the insurance needs of our customers since 1752. Because we have a long history of respect for and commitment to the privacy of our customers, we are providing you with information concerning the use of information gathered via our internet site.


We do not collect any personal information from visitors to our Web site.

We collect only information you provide to us through online forms and information requests or online information collecting devices known as “cookies”. We do not use “cookies” to retrieve information from a visitor’s computer that was not originally sent in a “cookie”.


The information we collect will be forwarded only to our employees who have a legitimate reason to receive your e-mail. We will contact you only as necessary in connection with your e-mail correspondence.


We maintain electronic and procedural safeguards for our internet site to protect the confidentiality of information provided by customers or potential customers. We restrict access to information about our customers to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to our customers.

We do not share nonpublic information we obtain from visitors to our Web site.


All credit card refunds are processed in a timely manner by The Contributionship Companies’ Accounts Receivable Department through the use of your original credit card information provided from the initial premium payment. Generally, return premiums are processed within 10 business days; however, due to individual policy circumstances, as well as the type of cancellation, this timeframe can vary. Please direct questions relating to your individual insurance policy to our Customer Service Department at 1-888-627-1752 between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Credit card return premium payments are made in the form of a credit to your card account if the following circumstances are true:

i. the original premium payment made on the policy was through a credit card within the last three months

ii. the card used for the original premium payment has not expired

iii. the insured has not contacted The Contributionship Companies requesting the return be made via check

Policies whereby any of the above statements do not hold true will receive a refund through a company issued check sent through the United States Post Office.

The credit card refund process is dependent on your billing cycle with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 10-20 working days for the proceeds to arrive on your account.
