TPC created a special pricing program to ensure that our most qualified clients receive our lowest premiums.  Franklin Select qualification is determined by your prior claims history and insurance score tied to your credit history. During the quoting process, you will be immediately enrolled in Franklin Select if you meet the requirements. Current TPC clients will automatically be renewed as Franklin Select if they meet the requirements for the program upon renewal. Franklin Select is not available in Maryland.

Let’s say you’re a TPC customer with a policy covering your primary home.  But it’s time to move.  You decide that rather than sell your house, you opt to keep it and rent it out as a landlord.   That new rental property needs a TPC rental property policy.  When you switch from a homeowners policy to a rental property policy, you get a 5% discount on the new investment property policy as another reward for your loyalty as a TPC customer.

Down to the Studs is a discount that offers a significant premium savings for homes that have been recently totally renovated including plumbing, electrical and heating system replacement. Down to the Studs is perfect for homeowners who invest in an older home, but want all of the modern convenience and efficiencies of a new home.  It has become especially popular in up-and-coming urban neighborhoods, but the discount is available for any qualified home that has undergone major systems upgrades to the home.  An interior inspection of the home is required to receive the Down to the Studs discount.

A deductible is the amount that you pay for a damage caused by a covered peril.  Once the amount of damage exceeds the amount of your deductible, that’s when TPC’s excellent claims service kicks in.  The higher the deductible you choose, the more affordable your policy will be.  So, if you’re looking to save money, consider how much you’re comfortable covering on your own and take control of your own insurance costs.  The higher the deductible, the bigger the discount.

Your TPC agent is more than just a salesperson.  They’re vetted and trusted insurance advisors.   We value our agents and we know you will too.  Which is why we provide a discount on your homeowner's policy when you bundle your auto coverage through the same agent.   The more time you invest with your agent, the better your coverage will be tailored to fit your specific needs. TPC focuses on protecting homes, but we know that many clients may value the discounts they receive when they “package” their home and auto together with one company through one agent. Clients who place their auto insurance with one of our TPC agents will receive a valuable discount off their TPC homeowners premium for as long as the agent continues to insure the auto within the agency. TPC clients will get their “agent package discount” if they insure their home with us and their autos with another company through the same TPC agent.

You should be rewarded for how well you maintain your home and prevent it from damage in the future.  TPC rewards customers who demonstrate claims-free behavior, even if you are a new customer!  And once you are a TPC customer, that claims-free record of yours earns you bigger discounts every year.   New customers automatically receive a discount when there have been no losses within the three years preceding the initial effective date of the policy. Once your policy has been with us for 3 years the longer you go without a loss the bigger the discount.
