Unique Coverages and Endorsements

Liberty Endorsement provides the most comprehensive package of coverage features and enhancements available from The Philadelphia Contributionship. Available in all states, the Liberty endorsement brings a higher degree of confidence and security to your homeowners policy so that the policy will respond in the event of a loss from an wider menu of circumstances and offers higher sub-limits for certain types of property.

Service Line Coverage provides for the repair or replacement of underground systems that service the household, such as sewer lines, plumbing, electricity, natural gas, as well as telecommunications and internet access. Service line coverage also includes the cost to replace landscaping, concrete work, and anything necessary to access the underground systems and restore the property to its pre-loss condition. Coverage limits of $10,000 or $15,000 are available at a very attractive annual cost, usually significantly lower than what’s available from the sewer or other utility companies.

Inland Flood Coverage is a unique endorsement that provides coverage for losses due to flooding, including things that are not covered by the traditional flood policy form. This endorsement is available in limits from $5,000 to $50,000. Eligibility is based on proximity to high risk flood zones. This endorsement is NOT a substitute for a traditional flood policy.

Water Backup Coverage is an important coverage to add onto the homeowners policy. Coverage limits start at $5,000 and can be increased to $50,000 in most states. These limits can vary by state.

Blanket Jewelry Coverage is perfect for if you own up to $25,000 of jewelry but don’t want to go through the hassle and expense of having each of your jewelry items appraised in order to insure them properly. With blanket jewelry coverage, each item is insured for up to $5,000 per item for a total maximum coverage amount of $25,000 per policy.

Equipment Breakdown Coverage provides coverage for breakdown of electrical equipment. When the amount of coverage for the home is less than $1 million, $50,000 of coverage is available.

Identity Theft Coverage provides $15,000 of coverage to pay for any expenses you incur as a direct result of identity fraud.

Functional Replacement Cost is ideal for homes built in 1930 or prior. This endorsement reduces the premium by allowing for the replacement of older construction materials with more modern but functionally equivalent ones, such as drywall for plaster or crown molding for custom molding.
